TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

By using our website, purchasing out products, or checking the agreement box during your registration, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Auslan Hub owns and holds licenses for all Intellectual Property Rights in materials provided during any event. These materials are intended solely for the purpose of this Agreement, and you are prohibited from reproducing, altering, redistributing, or selling them without our prior written permission, granted at our absolute discretion and subject to license fees.

You may use the information for teaching in the classroom only, not for personal businesses. No content from the workshop may be reproduced, adapted, uploaded to a third party, linked to, framed, performed in public, distributed, or transmitted for monetary gain without explicit written consent from Auslan Hub.

2. MARKETING

You grant us permission to photograph and/or video events for marketing and informational purposes, publications, exhibitions, and professional awards. Any publication of information about us requires our prior written consent.

3. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. For major service failures, you are entitled to cancel your service contract, receive a refund of the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value.

4. TERMS FOR EVENTS FOR CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS

These Terms for Events apply to all clients, customers, or potential clients and customers of Auslan Hub (“we,” “us,” “our”). Together with the Terms of Use and any other terms, conditions, and policies on our website, they form an Agreement. “You” refers to any customer or client.

To purchase a ticket, you must be 18 years old or older. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information, promptly updating us on any changes.

5. OUR EVENTS

To book an event or workshop, you must provide personal information, used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

You agree to pay for attendance at the event in advance via credit payment, bank transfer, or purchase orders.

All sales are non-transferable and non-refundable. Payment must be received before the event for admission. Failure to pay by the invoice due date will result in cancellation of your event registration.

7. REFUNDS, TRANSFERS

Transfers to other events are at our discretion and subject to availability. Refunds, to the extent permitted by law, are also at our discretion. We do not provide refunds for changes of mind, inadequate information, or non-attendance. Occasional transfers or refunds may be allowed for specific circumstances, such as family emergencies or illness with more than two weeks’ notice.

8. PRICES AND DESCRIPTIONS ON OUR WEBSITE

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Prices for events may change without notice. We may offer discounts, free tickets, discontinue unbooked events, or change the event range without notice. We are not liable for any changes, discontinuations, errors, or omissions in event descriptions or prices.

9. YOUR OBLIGATIONS AND CONDUCT RULES

You represent and warrant that all provided information is true, correct, current, and up-to-date. Failure to comply may result in immediate expulsion from our events.

You must conduct yourself appropriately at our events, being respectful and courteous at all times. Prohibited conduct includes inappropriate or offensive behavior, illegal activities, immoral actions, and any conduct misleading or impersonating others. Notify the host if you observe breaches in conduct.

By checking out or clicking on the agreement box when registering for our Professional Development Workshops, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Auslan Hub reserves the right to update these terms, and users will be notified of any changes.
