Divided into three sections, Kerrie will work with you to develop units of work for the following topics:
- Storytelling in the classroom
- Conversational skills
- Investigating Deaf History and Culture
You will be guided through the curriculum links, the content, skills and knowledge, and be given strategies to scaffold and develop student skills across different levels. Resource PDF package provided.
Kerrie Taylor is a highly experienced educator with 15 years of classroom teaching, specialising in Auslan, English, EAL, and Humanities. She has played a key role in updating the current Auslan curriculum as part of ACARA’s curriculum writing team.
Kerrie also holds an ongoing position with the Department of Education, contributing to translations, resource development, assessments, and providing advisory support
